Description
Radiating pure English charm, this little piggy is thought to date from the 1920’s. He found his way to Paris, practically unscathed other than a tiny hairline on the surface of the crackle glaze. He proudly features some of the most beloved characters from nursery rhymes such as Humpty Dumpty, Little Bo Beep, Baa Baa Blacksheep and Little Miss Muffet.
The images are hand painted and are as vivid today as when first applied. The piggy
Himself has the most delightful expression. As this is an early piece there is no cap Underneath to empty the piggy bank, I hope you agree he is too sweet to break open!
